Recovered COVID in Poland will be able to obtain an internal certificate of recovery

21 February 2022

On February 11, official information appeared that a new medical institution will be created in Poland. It will deal with internal recovery certificates. This will enable convalescents to obtain an internal certificate, similar to the so-called “covid certificate”.

The patient will be able to perform a quick antigen test free of charge, even in pharmacies. Pharmacies should be on the list certified by the Ministry of Health. A positive test result (indicating a person’s illness) will be recorded in the IT system of the Ministry of Health.

Within 11 days (according to some sources – 8 days), the information will go to a special database of the Ministry of Health. On the basis of these data, the person will be able to obtain an electronic certificate that will be valid only in Poland.

WARNING! The certificate does NOT entitle one to cross the border unlike the “standard” covid certificate that may be obtained by convalescents; vaccinated persons; or persons tested negative with the PCR test in the last 72 hours.

Persons with such a certificate will not be subject to restrictions that exist in Poland due to the epidemic.
