This time we are pleased to present a job offer for a welder 135/138 . We work for a shipyard company, which is one of the leaders in the offshore industry . The company has technologically advanced projects and is equal to the best shipyards in Europe.

  • number of working hours: 10 – 12 hours a day + possibility of working on Saturdays and Sundays (depending on the client’s needs)

Requirements:

  • welding with the GMAW, FCAW method of complex hydrotechnical structures beforehand
  • welding of black steel
  • reading technical drawing and WPS
  • experience in performing the work of 135 (Gas Metal Arc Welding or GMAW) 136 (FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), 138 (MAG welding with metal cored electrode; gas metal arc welding using active gas and metal cored electrode)
  • Possession of a marine welding certificate or to be obtained on site for PLN 1,200
  • determining the scope of welding works after reading the technical drawing;
  • setting the parameters of the welding apparatus in accordance with the WPS (welding procedure specification)
  • making welds in accordance with the assumptions of the WPS (welding procedure specification)
  • quality control of the weld
  • Process: remelting 135/138 – filling 136
  • Sheet metal – pipe D < fi 355 mm is welcome (ultimately on the project)
  • Connector type: BW – butt welds
  • Material thickness – s≥12 mm
  • Welding position PC+PF / PC+PH (target PH-L045)
  • Material group: black steel: (FM1-4)
  • Weld detail ss, nb, gb – one-sided welding
