Job description:
WORKSOL Group is a company operating in the HR industry since 2009. We provide staff to leading companies in Poland and carry out orders for them as a responsible subcontractor. We are pleased to present you another job offer for the following position: Welder 138/136.
• welding using methods 138/136 for offshore structures,
•
• welding of sheets in the thickness range of 5-100 mm,
• work in accordance with the technical drawing and WPS instructions,
• preparing elements and setting welding parameters,
• quality control and measurement of welds,
• arc air gouging,
• performing repairs based on NDT reports.
Requirements
• knowledge of technical drawings and WPS instructions,
• knowledge of the requirements of quality level B according to EN ISO 5817
• possession of a welding certificate using method 138/136,
• determining the scope of welding work after reviewing the technical drawing,
• setting the welding machine parameters as needed,
• controlling the quality of the weld.
The candidate performs:
1) butt joint with a "V" shape – melting process 138, filling and facing 136. The quality of the joint determines the further direction:
• satisfactory workmanship - hull welder,
• good and very good workmanship: offshore welder.
• visual examination of VT;
2) task for an offshore welder – welding a three-dimensional joint using processes 138/136. Weld with a "K" shape, sheet thickness: 20-30 mm – the root is arc-air gouged: category III:
• VT – visual examination;
• UT – ultrasonic examination;
3) When the offshore welder III performs:
• 1 task with a grade of very good,
• 2 tasks with a minimum grade of good,
can make an additional PIPE joint – performance graded good or very good: category IV.
• VT – visual examination;
• UT – ultrasonic examination;

• form of employment: contract of mandate,
• three-shift work: 1st shift 06:00-14:00, 2nd shift 14:00-22:00, 3rd shift 22:00-06:00,

• accommodation arranged by the employer - paid by the employee PLN 850 per month.
