As it was informed by Internet portal money.pl – on September 11 at the press conference, Minister Elżbieta Rafalska informed about the growth of the minimum salary in Poland. Moreover, the new minimum salary in Poland in 2019 has already been approved.

minimum salary in Poland in 2019

The minimum salary in Poland in 2019 will increase on 150 zł brutto, in comparing with 2018.

When you arranging for work in Poland in 2019, please note that the minimum salary by employment contract must be at least 2250 zł brutto. Or, say, 1800 zł brutto + 450 zł bonus – this option is also considered. In pure sense it comes out about 1634 zł netto.

The hourly salary is also increasing in 2019. From 13.70 zł brutto (about 9, 74 zł netto) to 14.70 zł brutto (about 10.55 zł netto).

It looks very perspective. If we look at the growth trend of the minimum salary in Poland, we will note that salaries are increasing every year. For example, in 2017 – 2000 zł brutto, 2018 – 2100 zł brutto, 2019 – 2250 zł brutto. Will the minimum wage in Poland continue to grow? We don’t know exactly.

If you work and get about 3000 zł netto, then you probably won’t feel such effect. In most cases, together with the minimum salary, the average wage in Poland is also increasing. The news are good for people who come for the first time and go to the first job, where the rate is minimal. In comparison with domestic salaries, even the minimum salary causes a huge contrast in sense of getting money for work. And it’s good that every year our compatriots are getting easier to start up in Poland.

Now you know what the minimum salary in Poland is in 2019. If you will underpay or don’t get payed salaries. Remember that you always can turn to the nearest branch Inspection Labor (Inspekcji Pracy) and send a complaint to the employer.
