The most popular professions in Poland

7 June 2019

The most popular professions in Poland. List of deficient professions in Poland from the official source. Information about the professions is taken from the Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland and more specifically from the document in which the Ministry of Family, Work, and Social Policy decided the current list of professions deficient for Poland. The document is dated 28.06.2018.

In September 2018 came up the information that for foreigners a simplified version of permanent residence permit (karta stałego pobytu) in Poland would be introduced. And this simplification was planned to apply to foreigners who have deficient professions in Poland. But despite this, this article will be useful for you in several aspects, especially if you have a deficient profession:

• You will able to obtain more quickly a work permit, due to the fact that for professions from the short list does not require the labor market test document (opinia starosty).
• If you are just going to get work, then it will be an additional argument when talking about salary with the employer.

Important information!

In this list, professions have their own index of 6-digitals or 4-digitals. The difference is between these two kinds is that a 6-digit symbol means that it is the specific name of a profession and specialty, for example, 833101 – a Bus Driver.
The 4-digit symbol means that this is an elementary group which already includes 6-digit names of professions and specialties.
